Nokia Good Things Arrow
For those of you who have been in the Tower Bridge area recently you might have seen a huge arrow in the sky displaying messages of 'Good Things' promoting Nokia Maps as part of a global marketing strategy. The six ton structure is the size of two double decker buses and is lifted with one of the countries largest tower cranes. AD Heath & Safety worked with the project team ensuring that creative objectives were achieved without compromising safety; implemented safe systems of work for the site and managed on site safety during the build and de-rig. The site came under the scrutiny of a random HSE inspection of lifting operations and working at height which was passed with flying colours. Nokia Good Things Blog

Disney’s A Christmas Carol Christmas Light Switch On
AD Health & Safety ensured that the coordinated Christmas light switch-on at St Paul's Cathedral, Regent Street and Oxford Circus celebrating the premiere of the new Disney feature of A Christmas Carol was a huge and safe success. Lights were switched on by Jim Carrey, Colin Firth and Bob Hoskins with music from Spandau Ballet and Scouting for Girls. Three stages at three central London locations presented several challenges for all involved in particular the limited timings available to build and and de-rig.
